LOLC Ventura Indonesia is a licensed venture capital company supervised by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Republic of Indonesia. The controlling shareholder of LOLC Ventura is recognized as LOLC ASIA PVT LTD (Singapore), a subsidiary of LOLC Holdings \u2013 one of the largest financial conglomerates.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Established in 1994, PT. LOLC Ventura Indonesia (previously known as PT. Sarana\u00a0Sumut\u00a0Ventura) was domiciled in Medan, North Sumatra Province. The early establishment of the company was\u00a0initiated\u00a0by PT.\u00a0Bahana\u00a0Artha Ventura \u2013 a subsidiary of PT.\u00a0Bahana\u00a0Pembina Usaha Indonesia (Persero) and was supported by few local banks and entrepreneurs.\u00a0During that time, the company provide\u00a0financing for the business sector, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs).<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the year 2017, LOLC made the\u00a0initial\u00a0investment to\u00a0acquire\u00a0the company and\u00a0commenced\u00a0business operations in 2018, under the MSME segment.\u00a0LOLC Asia Private Limited, a holding subsidiary of the LOLC Group, has received approval to\u00a0acquire\u00a0PT Sarana\u00a0Sumut\u00a0Ventura (with an 84.2% ownership stake) and change its name to PT LOLC Ventura Indonesia. The LOLC Group is the world’s largest multi-currency and multi-geographic microfinance service provider, and currently, the LOLC Group has investments in Cambodia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, the Maldives, the UAE, Mauritius, as well as several other footprints across the African and Central Asian regions.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Currently, LOLC Ventura\u00a0Indonesia\u00a0has expanded its business operations to Banten, Cirebon and Bandung regions, with\u00a061\u00a0locations across North Sumatra and Java Island.\u00a0Since changing our name to PT LOLC Ventura Indonesia and developing to where we are today, we continue to grow and adapt to market needs and demands, specifically for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia with a variety of products, while continuously expanding to become a financing solution provider with an increasingly broader reach for the people of Indonesia.\u00a0<\/span>The target market\u00a0comprises\u00a0of various skilled entrepreneurs, which in turn will contribute towards the development of Indonesian economy.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
