Mr. Krishan Thilakaratne is the Director/CEO of LOLC Finance PLC Sri Lanka and a Member of the Senior Management Team of LOLC Holdings PLC Srilanka. Mr. Thilakaratne, one of the Directors of LOLC South East Asia covering Philippines and Pakistan. Further, Mr Thilakaratne is a Director of LOLC Central Asia covering Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. He serves in the Boards of LOLC Moliya Micro Deposit Organization in Tajikistan, OJSC Micro Finance Company “ABN” in Kyrgyzstan and is appointed as the Director of R Finance in Kazakhstan. He is an Advisor to “Lombard Micro Finance Organisation LLC” in Tajikistan.

 

Mr. Thilakaratne is also a Board member of Commercial Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd in Sri Lanka. He was a board member of Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB), Prasac Micro Finance Institution Ltd Cambodia and the past Chairman of the Finance Houses Association of Sri Lanka (FHASL), the Apex body for Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) in Sri Lanka. He is a member of Chartered institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK and Associate member of Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (AIB). He has followed Strategic Leadership training programme in Micro Finance at Harvard Business School USA and counts over 28 years of experience in Management, Credit, Channel Management, Marketing, Factoring, Portfolio Management, and Islamic Finance. He conceptualized and introduced Islamic Finance to LOLC Group in 2007 and is a Guest Speaker at International Islamic Finance Forums.

Mr.Charith Praboda Jagoda is a seasoned professional with three decades of expertise in the banking and finance industry, specializing in Development Finance with a focus on SME and microfinance. His extensive experience spans strategy formulation and execution, innovative product development, and portfolio management. Charith has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing tailored financial solutions that empower micro-entrepreneurs and SMEs, driving growth and profitability across the financial services sector with a particular emphasis on MSME financing.

 

A distinguished alumnus of Harvard Business School, Charith completed executive training in Strategic Leadership and Inclusive Finance and has participated in numerous international programs focused on micro and SME financing, further enriching his global perspective and strategic acumen.

 

Charith’s illustrious career began at Hatton National Bank PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading private commercial banks. During his tenure, he honed his expertise in retail and corporate banking, specializing in credit evaluation and monitoring. His tenure at HNB laid the foundation for his continued success in financial services.

 

Currently, Charith serves as the Head of the SME and Personal Finance Business Unit at LOLC Finance PLC, Sri Lanka’s largest non-banking financial institution. In this role, he drives portfolio growth, oversees product innovation, and ensures the profitability of the business unit.

 

Charith’s industry contributions extend beyond his corporate roles. He is a former Board Member of the Lanka Microfinance Practitioners Association (LMFPA), and currently serves on the Board of the Leasing Association of Sri Lanka, the apex body representing the leasing industry.

 

Mr. Irfan Mutyara is a well-known business figure in Medan, Indonesia who works as President Commissioner and Commissioner in many organizations. He currently serves as President Commissioner of PT Sarana Sumut Ventura, President Director of PT Agra Para Citara and Commissioner of PT Agra Nusantara Agri. During his career, he has gained extensive experience in the fields of Oil Palm Plantations, Industrial Health equipment and Financial Institutions. Mr. Irfan won a degree from the HKBP Nommensen University in Medan and holds the main position of several social organizations in Indonesia.
